Ester Martínez, passionate Brand Ambassador of the Muriel Wines Group, proud to have been born in Zaragoza turned Riojan and Alicantina by love.
With an initial vocation in primary education, life led her to immerse herself in the family's catering business from a young age. Despite her initial career, her interest in wine grew, influenced by her passionate father and the family distributor in Benidorm, turning her curiosity into a life passion.
In 2006, she joined an exciting project at Marqués de Riscal Winery in La Rioja for almost 12 years, learning to love the land and winemaking tradition of La Rioja.
It was in 2018 when Ester made a significant turn, leaving the restaurant industry to pursue her true passion: wine. She underwent intensive training in viticulture, oenology, sommelier, and tasting, transforming her life.
Her encounter with Javier Murúa in 2018 marked a transformative change. As the ambassador of Muriel Wines, she travels across Spain sharing her passionate knowledge. Elciego became her home, highlighting the value of the human team at Muriel Wines as essential to her personal and professional development in this fascinating field.
