Red Crianza
DOCa Rioja
Selection of grapes from vineyards in Rioja Alavesa and Rioja Alta, planted in very poor chalky soils with a clayey-loam texture.
The fermentation and maceration process is carried out for 15 days in stainless steel tanks, with daily pumping over for optimum extraction of colour and tannins. After the elaboration process, the wine is transferred to barrels where it remains for 12 months in 225-litre American oak casks.
Once the ageing process is complete, the wine is bottled where it acquires complexity and roundness.
